In The Kitchen


Nothing says winter like a warm bowl of chili, which happens to be my winter favorite.


  1. pack of ground beef/turkey ( your meat of choice)
  2. brown & drain meat
  3. season and add chopped onions ( chop scallions and set to side for topping)
  4. In separate pan add tomato paste/sauce/diced tomatoes
  5. 1 can of undrained kidney beans ( light or dark)
  6. 4 table spoons (or to taste) of  grape jelly ( yup grape jelly)
  7. 1 pack of chili seasoning ( may need 2 depending on how big of a batch)
  8. for a little KICK  I add a teaspoon of Jerk seasoning
  9. simmer and serve with cheese, scallions and crackers/tortilla strips
